i read somewhere on Digg yesterday that they are implementing a new play calling system where it shows plays tailored to your field position an down. I hope that this doesnt take away from being able to pick ur own play.

They said they are doing this because most ppl use 4% of the playbook which for most teams is over 300 plays.

The point of that is to cut game times in half.
The tag line for this year is pretty much - make it easier.

Personally I don't really need the game to be easier to play or more accesible, so it'll be interesting to see how all that plays out and if it will be new and refreshing or just simply annoying for long time fans....I would however like the game to not to be as "cheap" - instead of making it "easier" I'd have liked to see more "realistic".

I really wish whatever team at Sony is responsible for MLB:The Show was allowed to make an NFL game.

in the same article it said the average game take over a hr with only 17 mins of game play with the rest going to switching players, looking at stats an finding plays.
