Madison Bumgarner goes on DL because of dirt bike accident.

Bumgarner is going on the DL after he injured his shoulder and ribs in a crash while riding a dirt bike on his day off.
If I was a Giants fan, I'd be pissed that he did something so stupid during the season.
Aren't dangerous activities like this during the season on the forbidden list of a player's contract?

Reminds me of the time Jeff Kent was "washing his truck". That was also a motorcycle accident - the glaring difference being that Kent lied his ass off about what happened.
