My incredibly inept journey of UD.
I purchased this card from ebay in December of 2007. Naturally hoping for a Lakers/Celtics type final or something leading up to it so I could dump my card off for a profit. Well, after about a month or so I got really impatient and decided to go ahead and put in the redemption code and get the actual card myself. Naturally I wanted a few months and nothing ever changed. I called them around May asking what was going on and they told me it would take a while to get the card and they were having issues with 2 of the people signing the card. Basically telling me the card was never going to be made. I asked for a replacement and they accepted my request. A couple weeks go by and the status never changed, so I called them back asking whats up. They told me that they had nothing in stock that would compare to my card so they refused to replace it. After talking back and forth with them for a few days in Late May we agreed on a replacement and they said they would get it fullfilled. It was marked as shipped and I was happy. Late June came and no card, I decided to find out whats going on. They tell me I need to wait about 7 weeks for delivery and to be patient. Naturally I was annoyed but I obliged. Middle of July comes and all of the sudden my card is back to being marked in my waiting area. I calm down, wait 24 hours and call them back the next day. They once again tell me, they have nothing to replace it with and apparently have no recollection of talking to me about a suitable replacement. They told me I need to wait 45 days to request a replacement as under their policy. I politely point out to them that I have been waiting since Feburary and that it has been much longer than 45 days. SO after a "nice" little coversation with the person I had to sit and wait a while for them to decide when they were gonna replace it. I call them back late September and once again ask for a replacement. I give them the same options, and even tell them I will take product as an acceptable replacement because I got enough money in this card, I just need SOMETHING back. They tell me they will get on it. I wait the 7-8 weeks (Annoyed the entire time because I know they will tell me to do it if I call) and 8 weeks later, nothing happens. Call them up again, and they say they never have record of the card being asked to be replaced and they will put it on the priority list. I decide to hold my anger in for a bit and accept their "appology".
Late December comes around and FINALLY for the second time, it gets marked as "shipped". I call them the next day to confirm it has in fact been shipped and they said it will be shipped but right now it is in the process at their shipping plant. This naturally made me excited and I waited. I called them early Janurary of this year just to double check it had been sent and they in fact said it was SHIPPED, on the way to my house and I will be happy. 3 weeks later, nothing in the mail. Im worried, so I call them back up. They tell me I should have recieved it by now, no they dont have a DC#, and I have to fill out paperwork for a missing card. This upsets me even more, but still havent laid the fire into them yet, hoping for the best.
So it is now a full year later, about 15 calls, 2 times being "shipped", and multiple times being "replaced" and im back to the waiting game. They once again told me I have to request a replacement and it will take 7-8 weeks for them to process this and up to another 3-4 weeks to ship it out. This is of course, if they actually plan on shipping it this time. I requested that they just send product out to me to alleviate any potential issues of me not getting the proper value for my card. I have no doubt that they will send me product full of redemptions, just to go through this again.
