here I thought this would be my last mailbag post, but I still have a couple packages to get out, I tried lol :lol:

anyways after long thoughts, ive decided to retire from the collecting world :shock: , after 18 years of great times thanks to my oldest son getting me back into collecting in 1992, there are still a few Griffeys id love to own, but its time ......all I can say is THANK YOU everyone you have all been so kind and GREAT people to me :grouphug: ,ive always loved sending out and finding cards for other members and in return you've given me so many memories and gifts that i will never forget
my hat goes off to UPPER DECK too for all the GREAT CARDS produced of Griffey and the years putting up with me, every one there has been way kind to me answering emails, and XMAS cards, and a few gifts along the way,
also thanks goes out to BMB without them, this site would not have ever been born ,
i pop in to a few other sites time to time, but i still find this to be HOME BASE ,ill still be stopping in reading posts from time to time. ROY and the other Griffey guys, thanks for all the help and heads up thought out the years, ALL THE MODs and so many people here im so grateful to !! seeing after Griffey Retired the thrill was kinda gone in collecting for me :?
ive pretty much packed up all my odds and ends and was able to get the last of the packages shipped out, bouwob :?: , if theres anyway to please keep this post in the sticky that be nice, for future generations to see that collecting isnt always about the $ i wouldn't turn down any rarer griffey i lack if i were to get any sent to me , lol ........as for my collection its staying put for now, ive had a few amazing offers, which ill prolly kick myself in the butt later on but like i said it isnt always about the $, i will have a contest for a magicpapa card 1/1 that gracecollector was so kind to make for me also ill have a few magicpapa card to send out if anyone missed out or would like one,ill put up a post later,
i thought today would be a fitting day to post this, as it Juniors BDAY NOV 21st HAPPY BIRTHDAY Griffey Jr!!!!! and THANKS FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT INFLUNACE IN BASEBALL AND IN THE CARD COLLECTING WORLD ive tried to get a magicpapa card signed by Griffey in the past but it never happened,if anyone out there can help...... maybe one day..
in ending I hope somewhere along the way ive helped out in the collecting world in one way or another, and hope there will continue to be a little magicpapaism in all of us in the years to come

I've never been a Griffey fan, but have been a fan of the generosity and "paying it forward" you've exhibited for so long. I never received anything from you, but that's not important. I'd still like to say THANKS for bettering the hobby. You're right...the attitude of "it's not always about the money" makes the hobby much more enjoyable. Best wishes to you sir.
