MAILDAY - New BGS Slabs!!! - PC & Prospects

Just picked these up last night. Figured I would show the slabs. :mrgreen:

Not sure what made the two autos get 9 grades, but still hard cards to gem.

To get one BGS 9.5 of an auto from the older USA issue is rare. To get two in the same shipment is amazing.

To get four is....unheard of.

BGS has undoubtedly relaxed its standards signficantly of late.

how did those 2 bottom cards get 9 auto? i guess i can understand the bottom right with the auto being somewhat smaller in the area, but the other looks about the same size as both 10's. oh well.

JP, you have to look at the sample size. There might be 4 gems, but it was out of 20+ blue autos.

Still have yet to find a decent red auto copy.

I seem to recall Dave (leatherman) submitting several dozen of these a couple of years ago and getting back only one 9.5 - that of LaPorta.
