They just do. ;)

Today was a Bobby Doerr mailday for sure. First up, a pretty sick bat/patch of Doerr that I got for $30 dlvd.

Pretty sick patch if I do say so myself....CLICK HERE to see my other Doerr patches.

Next up is a couple slabs. 8-)

Big shoutout to Andy for letting me hop in his PSA submission, everything went very smooth. Next time I am sending a few cards to get graded....

Here are the goods:

Man those look fantastic in slabs!!!  And they now are well protected...WELL worth the $!!

And I just won $10 on a scratch ticket and got some tax $ back so hopefully I will have a real nice pickup to post in a few days. :)

Thanks for looking everyone!

Scotty,
Great slabs, really like the Doerr collection. I've been meaning to ask you if you wanted a Doerr TTM that is signed on the back "This is not me, Bobby Doerr"? I can check on what kind it is.

That's a very unique patch for $30. Hopefully you can eventually find a card with another part of that patch.

LOVE the 36 Goudey!
Thanks a lot Chris! I absolutely love the 36 Goudey...first of all the picture on the card is amazing, and Doerr was only 17/18 in that pic...very young. Secondly it is his true RC card, and very tough to come across. These never show up and when they do they go for $100+, and mine is the only one I know of that is auto'ed. Very nice card....I also love my 39 Play Ball courtesy of shanks25. :)

spahnandsain - Thank you! And I am very interested in the TTM, is he not pictured on the card??

daveyou - Thanks Dave! I love slabs, they make cards look great and offer nice protection. :)

mrwhitesox30 - I had a feelin' you would like the Doerr patch! :D That would be awesome If I could find any of the other 4, I'll keep my eyes out!

birdsfan85 - Thanks Talmer, they look incredible in person. I'll keep an eye out for a Doerr auto'ed RC for you! [Or just his RC, in which you can send TTM]

abncollectsautos - Thanks!! :)

.....it is one of the 2001 Fleer Red Sox set cards. My son got the exact same return on a TTM a couple of years ago. Let me see if I can find it......

EDIT can't find a pic but fairly certain it is 2001 FLEER RED SOX 100th BOBBY DOERR BB#88 (Beantown Best) and the pic is of Lou Boudreau.

BTW, great slabs Scotty.

I'm on the lookout for a 1939 Goudey Williams, very rare and big $$

Scotty,
Someone is pictured on it, guess it's not him though. PM me your address and I'll get it headed your way.

Mox,
Thanks man, I think my sig is pretty good to. Manny has better defense than the Tar Heels!

I love how my 3 39 PB autos match their holder:
