Thanks guys! - This last 3 months has been AMAZING for my collection...

Everything just kept coming together... Have you ever had that feeling???

I ALMOST feel like retiring... I'm about 30 cards shy of complete... hmmm...

That's amazing. I feel like I'll go on stretches where all these tough Belle cards will spike all at once or nothing at all for a long stretch.

Congrats again. What are you about 30 away from? No way you have every card but 30, right?!

jeebus. Insane cards. So were all those from separate buyers, or did you buy out a collector? Hard to believe you could pick all those up from separate sellers in such a short span of time!

Wow, good for you! This line-up deal is cool. How did you create it? I mean I don't have a picture of all Belle cards I need.
heh - I find it impressive that he's actually got pictures of the cards he's missing. There are cards on my wantlist that I don't have the first clue what they look like - never seen 'em.

Let me throw the "White Whale" story out there real quick:

About 4 years ago I saw the /2 Laundry Tag on the Beckett Checklist - http://www.beckett.com/baseball/2005/prime-patches-portraits-laundry-tag/82-jose-canseco2-5160015

This had been Canseco's only Laundry Tag release and regardless of who made it I WANTED it - I proclaimed it my "White Whale" among fellow Canseco collectors.

Only a few months later it had briefly surfaced on eBay one night after I went to bed, only to be ended early and sent out that next morning before I caught wind.

AND it was 2/2 the 2nd half of the MLB swing man with both the blue and red colors. Even if 1/2 shows up in the future it will probably be the 1st half of that tag.

Not that there's anything wrong with that... It's just not the half I wanted... LOL There are several things that fell into place in order for me to obtain this card &

I am absolutely 100% thrilled with it and couldn't have designed a better card myself... Losing the Prime Patch version of my "White Whale" 3 years 3 months and

8 days earlier had caused a void in my collection I never thought I would satisfy. Honestly words cannot express how complete this Laundry Tag has made my PC.

Nice story and even better card! I'm jealous.

This forum rarely gets any Sportkings love. Glad to see another happy collector cherish one of these amazing cards. That's a beauty! I will gladly add it to my PC with honor if you ever decide to sell it. ;)

"So were all those from separate buyers, or did you buy out a collector?"
I bought those over about a three month period from about 20 different seller! - It was a an expensive 90 days!

"This line-up deal is cool. How did you create it?"
(Using Windows 7) I put all my files in a picture folder maxed out their size and took a screen capture (Prt Scrn) pasted it in Photoshop or Paint and cropped it.

I wanted that 2012 SportKings card as soon as I saw it on the checklist... SIGHT UNSEEN - I had never seen a documented Canseco SK card. (Later you showed me a couple redemption cards you own)
So with Canseco's releases being so limited now I knew I wanted this card! It was going to be a memorabilia card (Which he hasn't had one since 2009 with the UD Bat Barrels) and this was going to be
a 1/1! Being his 1st "official" release in the SK series. I didn't want to miss it - It had actually turned out to be the #1 card on my want list without even seeing it. If they did his patch as good as they
do the rest I would be thrilled. WELL, when I saw that it was a FULL BLOWN Laundry Tag I about had an out of body experience. It was such a rush to obtain this card since my lost White Whale was
apart of the only other solo Canseco laundry tag set ever released. I think If I were to sell my entire PC I would be ok doing so if I held onto my Spectacular Patch SportKings 1/1 Jumbo Laundry Tag...

^^but how did you get a picture of every card you need? I guess you'd have to see it yourself on eBay or the like, not win it and save the picture?

Again, amazing post with your incoming cards. Just awesome!

About 1/2 of them are original cards that I have seen from other collectors, etc.
Some others are the base version and just the description is accurate to what I want.
Others I have changed the colors with PS and the online WINNER I PSd from a Griffey I saw.

Had only the seller known to not be in such a big hurry to sell, he would have made a LOT more on that card. :D

Crazy sometimes how sellers shoot themselves in the foot by ending auctions early. ::facepalm::

If it's a Sportkings 1/1, and you have it at auction, and you sell off-line to someone other than the biggest SK collector, you're probably losing money!

No...I'm not bitter! LOL

(Hope this made you smile).
