My dad's favorite player has always been Jim Abbott. As I been getting more into vintage and watching the Ken Burns DVDs, I've also learned a little bit about Mordecai "3 finger" Brown. These two players got me wondering if there are any other major leaguers who played despite physical diabilities which, one would think, would make it difficult to excel in the big leagues?

Vlad runs as though he has rickets.

Not enough vitamin K. He hits too well.

Judging by some of his actions, I believe BJ Upton has some problems with mental retardation
