LOL, why would beckett even mention FCB in any of this?

Good lord man, I don't care about them crediting the forum because it's the user that pointed it out. Calm down Mario :-)

I don't know, ask Blanning71, the user who brought up the credit issue.

FCB broke this story, not Kevin Whatshisname. I would think you would enjoy the credit and extra traffic the story would bring.

Mario do you add credit your blog for every story you take directly from here? I can see several cases you dont.

This mistake was easily discoverable.

Imagine what happens with the relics/memorabilia that don't have any readily identifiable markings...

great detective work on that, you should write in to Chris Olds at Beckett and see what he has to say about it

He won't have anything to say about it cause beckett is in bed with all the card companies.

Proof please.

Early on, no I didn't which is why my relationship with Gilmore was hurt.

Lately, I have. Don't get it wrong, I spend countless hours on eBay, flipping through Card Almanacs, and surfing through Photobucker for story ideas.

for the record I love your blog, just pick your battles. If your time is jammed can you imagine getting nothing but hot boxes how jammed up you would be? :D

Thanks for the compliment.

I for one am happy Beckett posted the story, it's egg on my face ... which is why I posted the Beckett story in this thread before anyone else.

I just would have liked to see Beckett give a hat tip to FCB cause in this case it definitely deserved it, despite how humble Gilmore wants to be. ;)

In the end, we have a good ending. The user will either get the card fixed or he'll sell the error card for decent money.
