This is my first ever post. The custom cards are what drew me to FCB. Any tips on how to print them? Do you guys print and mail out the ones you have shown on here or are they simply online graphics?

Would also like to know what kind of paper you guys use to print on, and how to layer for thickness. Also, what if I wanted to include a patch or something. How does the stock work then?

Something that a member here suggested tome was to print the front onto photopaper, and print the backs on to the thickest cardstock your printer can handle. Then glue them together with a gluestick so that there's no lumps. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet though.

I have an idea for a custom I would want for my PC. Who here does the best quality custom cards? Not looking to hurts anyones feelings, I just want the best because this would be a one time deal and the card would stay in my collection forever!

200lb makes some great ones.

I've done a few that I want to try to get signed (either TTM or IP) at some point...

Mine are strictly being made to get signed. Here is an example.

I even made a little spot for the signature to go.

I'd like a custom made. I have design and photo picked out already. I even cropped the pic to the size needed, not that it was much help. I would like it on card stock. And bad thing is I'm pretty picky, I would sending it out TTM to be signed and it would then spend the remainder of it's life in my personal collection. :D So I'm looking for top notch quality.

I am looking to pay. Hopefully 1 card isn't too pricey. I am aiming at 200lbhockey to do it (I've pm'd him), but if he can't I would def. need a second choice.

Any takers?

Here are a few of mine. Some of you have probably already seen them. They aren't cheap to make, but I work in the printing/design/advertising industry so it helps. They are solely for my personal collection.

This is something I am looking at getting into as well. I am pretty decent at graphic designing and will have no problem coming up with a sweet design, but printing and putting them together will be the tough part, since I'm not exactly certain how to go about it.

Does anyone know if a regular printer will work for printing onto card stock (which is obviously notably thicker than regular computer printing paper)?

I print out the card at sams or walgreens, 2 cards (front and back) will print in a 4x6. If its a jersey I usually you one of the thick filler "blanks" that come in packs and stuff and put the jersey in that. Ive never done a patcg before, i am gonna try one soon. Ill post some pics when i can

I've made a few custom 8x10 before. I got one signed by Tapp after his first off season when he came home to VA.

Few that I have made..
