...might remember a few months ago that I started a thread asking "who do you wish you could see fight more, and that Vitor was my pick. You dont how excited I was to hear he was back in the UFC but man, against Franklin, I just cant pick who to root for. I've been watching since UFC 6 and when Vitor exploded on the scene I was an immediate fan...

Vitor all the way.

One of the few guys who can keep me on the edge of my chair. And it has been that way for 12 years.

Franklin is a good guy. Met him, all class. But hes never excited me the way other have.

I think for what Rich has done, he is very underrated.

He has a stellar record, is a really nice guy, and very likeable. He is also a great fighter.

His really only big loss(es) are to Silva, and its not like he's the only one who has been beaten by him.

Vitor has trained and fought in the heavier class though, so I will give the edge to him.

I just know that no matter what I will be happy for whoever wins

WOW Belfort looked GOOD. Even before putting Franklin away. Dude looked straight intimidating when he was stalking Rich. Dare I say it, but Anderson you may just finally have a challenge on your way..

Crocop- time to hang em up bro. I just don't see him beating anyone in the HW division at this point. The man has always been a one trick pony, only this fight he seemed to forgot his one trick...

Koscheck looking pretty good, although I didn't expect much from Trigg to begin with.

I've seen pretty much every UFC since the first and *IMO*, this card turned out to be top 5 best overall cards I've ever seen. (Just don't ask me what the other 4 are. lol) EXTREMELY satisfied with dropping the $50 on this one!

Mirko has never been the same since his fight with Fedor. Fedor has said about Mirko, "I broke his spirit". Looks like he was telling the truth. Mirko was without question the #2 HW at one point, but at 35 and several surgeries under him, its now time to fight some cans or hang em up.

I was at the fight and the punch that knocked Rich out was CLEARLY to the back of the head.

:| Maybe that was the problem. You were AT the fight. Ace didn't get hit in the back of the head until he was already face first into the mat, after going out.

I was for Belfort and can testify that while Franklin was on his hands and knees, Belfort landed a hard shot to the back of his head that slammed Franklin's forehead into the mat. Franklin might have been stunned, but the shot to the back of the head knocked him out. There's absolutely no question about it, and I think you'll start hearing more about it in the next couple of days. You could see Dana White and Yves Lavigne clearly talking about it after the fight.

Vitor was bouncing Franklin's head like a basketball. I counted 3 shots to the back of the head. I hope Belfor passes his pee test this time.

Belfor missed weight at 195. How is going to make weight for 185 when he fights Spider?

Gifs are up on the supposed "3-4" shots to the back of the head. I'll just link the sherdog thread of the fight w/gif.

http://www.sherdog.net/forums/f2/rich-f ... dex36.html

I have watched the gif dozens of times now and still don't see what some of you are claiming to have seen. There was one shot to the back of the head at the very end, and this was obviously not the cause of Franklin's KO. 3-4? Might want to look again. Maybe Vitor was too fast for you? Or maybe a select few should loosen their stranglehold of Rich's nuts.

Questionable but at that point, Rich was done anyways.
No one finishes guys liek Vitor does and Rich wasnt going to recover.

Sometimes your shots dont land where you expect to and a guy slightly moving his head while your trying to punch him makes a huge difference.

It wasnt intentional, and it didnt change to outcome of the fight at that point.

Like the ******** that happened in Mir/Lesnar 1. Mazzagatti is the worst ref of all time. I still can`t believe he took a point away from Brock after that. Completely ridiculous.

PPV was ok.

Undercard fights were awesome!

Did Rich seem unsure of himself after that fight or what.

What was Mazz supposed to do?
The point deduction had NO effect on the fight as Mir still almost ripped his leg off.
And they dont put them back into position after a foul. Only after a dr has to come in so it was being stood up regardless.
It went how it went!
