Saw this on FB, and realized that most large card shows could result in similar cleavage. Seems that and very large, stinky men attend most of the Northeast shows, one in particular...

That guy can clear the entire show room. Absolutely the most disgusting odor I have ever had to experience.

Ahh so you know of whom I speak. This man is so disgusting, if he gets within a tables reach, you can go into convulsions. At the Shriners show, he actually had stains all over his blue sweatpants, brown splatters.

I think the guy posing in those pictures may be a case of pot & kettle.
I'm someone who enjoys playing the game, but is reasonably well adjusted. I started playing because my sons (10 & 13) enjoy playing. Now, I'm really getting into it. I've actually had some nice conversations with others who seem to be well adjusted - and interesting conversations with those who are not. It is like most other society niches where you throw people who are highly intelligent together. You have some who are self aware and others who are not. I actually use these tournaments to teach my boys how to interact with others and also show them examples as how not to. They are both highly intelligent and my one son is considered on the "spectrum".
That being said, pointing fingers and laughing is always good until the camera gets pointed at yourself. As has been pointed out, people who collect sportscards do not have a very stable leg to stand on when it comes to moralizing about the socialbility of others.

I think MTG needs a diversity program.
As a serious MTG player, this made the rounds on my FB feed early in the weekend so I've had some time to digest it, if that's the word, and talk to other people about it. Most players who have seen it said,"Yeah, that's about right" and laughed. However, I showed it to a couple non-Magic-playing women and they had opposite reactions. In addition to being subjected to 15 shots of buttcrack, they didn't think it was funny at all, and the guy was being mean. While there have been arguments about it being the same as getting upskirt shots of women, which I find unconvincing, and bullying, which seems ridiculous, I have to admit I have a problem with posting pictures of people in a compromising position without their knowledge or consent. Maybe I've been watching Ron Swanson on Parks & Rec too much, but I'm starting to think there's just too much info out there.
And there's more. There's this thing called the DCI, which is the official MTG player association that keeps various things associated with your Magic career, and maintains a "suspended/banned list" of people who violate the rules of the game somehow. Most of the time it's for actual cheating, but there are a few cases every year of theft, collusion, threats of violence, and such. OB1, the subject of these photos and the guy who posted them on the web, has apparently been suspended for 6 months by the DCI under the "harassment" rules of conduct. While it's easy to say,"Pull your pants up" or "don't be that fat" or whatever, it's still something that with more careful consideration shouldn't have been posted. Harassment seems a strong word, since he wasn't confronting them directly, but still, how would you like it?
