You know, someone just made a post yesterday about how Buehrle was one of the most underrated players in the games. I can't remember who it was...

:)

Haha, yeah, that was actually the first thing I thought about.

I'm buying a lottery ticket.

And if Yunel Escobar (made a post about him today) gets 4 HRs in a game tomorrow, or an unassisted triple play, everyone here is buying me donuts.

He was on the mound for a total of thirty-two minutes....

I remember him and Halladay going head-to-head in Toronto one night. They both work so incredibly quickly. Buehrle allowed just two baserunners but they were both homers. Halladay (and co.) pitched a shutout. The game ended in 1:50. You blink and you miss it.

Ha, wow....I can only imagine how quick that game went by! Fantastic pitching matchup....will they meet again this season?

Just because I liked weird stuff like this. Eric Cooper was also the home plate umpire for Buehrle's last no-hitter. Weird stuff.

I'm watching the press conference....

They just interrupted the press because President Obama was on the phone to talk to Buehrle. I love this game!

That really was amazing! My favorite part was the crowd... they were all cheering until the ball was hit... then they all fell silent followed by a collective groan. Like they all knew it was going out. Then the catch, and the crowd goes wild!!!

I love this game. :ugeek:

So here is something I was not aware of and some people have seemed to allude to.

In Mark's first No hitter Dye hit an Grand Slam and Thome had 2 homeruns and I think the
slam was the first time in a no hitter, But I'm for sure.

Well today Josh Fields hit a grand Slam in this one as well, So if the first on was true
then this history again as for the first pitcher to have a no hitter and a perfect game
and someone has hit a grad slam in each of his no-no's.
Can anyone verify if this has even not happened ever before.

its funny a mediocre pitcher a career .550 pitcher has both a no hitter,WS ring and now a PG not many people can say that.
