Reynolds was fanned three times on Thursday, bumping his season total to 87. He struck out during 33.3 percent of his plate appearances last season, when he set the major league strikeout record at 204. With a 34.6 percent strikeout percentage this season, he's on pace to shatter his own mark.

Davis has actually struck out one more time than Reynolds in about 20 few ABs.

He may be on pace to break his own strike out record for a season...but he will also become the first person to go 30/30 in the same season (if he can keep up the pace he is on).

How much better would that be if he broke his own record AND went 30/30?
