I saw a Toby Gardenhire Max Bat this weekend. The guy wanted $100 on it and I almost fell over laughing, but he may make his MLB debut this next season.

I guess it doesn't take much to beat out the Twins middle infielders. Too bad they traded a 30 HR shortstop for a wild middle reliever.

My summer team, the South Troy Dodgers from Troy, NY were sponsored by Max Bat and we were provided about 100 bats for the season with our team name on them. The bats were really nice and many of the guys really liked the performance and longevity of the bats. This collection is sweet man!

Ordered birch, but they sent maple, so I'm not gonna complain.

That's cool, mine came a few days ago as well. I asked them to make mine 32.5 inches since the 33 that I tried in their showroom seemed a tad heavy. (Which was strange since I always swing a 33.)

Took my first BP with them and the ball was jumping off. There's not many sounds better than the ball cracking off the bat.

I also liked the warning sign they put on their boxes.

Let me know how you like the maple.
