Max Talbot TTM success!!!

as some of you know I decided to send a few of my Pens ticket stubs from this year to players to sign them and last week I sent stubs to Max Talbot, Kris Letang and Matt Cooke. well today after only 8 days my Talbot was returned and I am very happy with how awesome it looks.

I can't wait to get the others back.

hockey players are usualy good ttmers.

i asume you know this but MAF is a 50/50 signer.

is this your first ttm success, i have got 5 from the caps.

Jeff no this wasn't my first TTM success. I have been doing TTM for years but this was definitely my fastest return. I got a Talbot back last season in 18 days so I guess he is pretty fast all the time.

Very cool! Is there a secret on how to do this? My wife is a big fan of the Penguins. Of course living so far away we don't have any ticket stubs but we can send cards or other items.

thanks and there is no secret.

all you need to do is send a card and a quick note along with a self addressed stamped envelope to the player who you want to sign the card. I usually use a small white envelope as the SASE and a larger white envelope to mail everything.

Congrats!! I love TTM autograph hunting. I keep meaning to send another one to Jordan Staal. I attended a Pens game in Ottawa a couple of years ago where he set the NHL records for shorthanded goals. Would be cool to get the ticket stub signed. Unfortunately, he lost the record the next year :lol:

Speaking of autographs. I've been thinking about purchasing some from eBay of the harder guys to get. Some say they come with a COA, but are there any companies that I want to avoid?

it sounds like its his own companys coa.
