Maybe its just the CARD collectors that stink on Ebay?

Sold some stuff from around the house that we don;t use anymore on Ebay this morning.

EVERYONE paid within an hour with nice notes about shipping!

I must admit that I'm pleased as this is a new experience....

I think you got lucky. There are losers in pretty much every nook of eBay.

I've also had great luck with buyers outside of cards and video games. I actually think games might be worse than cards.

Sneaker buyers are just as bad as card buyers. In fact, they might be worse because they buy seldom. They expect things that just aren't possible, simply because they use eBay/Paypal a few times a year.

I can agree with you on this one. I have had about 40 games up in my store for sale over the past 3 months and I guarantee I had to re-list about 15 of them.

I haven't had really any problems that weren't of my own cause while selling autographs over the last year and a half.

Nope, there are douches in every category.

Had some lady last year try to screw me on some Disney party supplies for my daughter's birthday.

Bought a TON of different items from her, and her idea of "combined shipping" was to charge me $28 instead of $32
for some paper products that could've fit into a $10 flat rate box, and then not respond to any of my messages,
and then file a npb. She finally responded after I filed a chargback by telling me how big and badass her husband is...

I will say the only problem that I have on eBAY are the guys who buy exquisite/treasures basketball.

The vintage buyers are the BEST sportscard buyers on eBay and usually pay with minutes of auction's end.

Buyers of functional products - good

Buyers of collectibles - bad

I disagree.

I buy and sell hundreds of coin related auctions a year. Coins are significantly more dependable on grades then cards are. I have very few issues. My wife has well over a 10,000 transactions this year for her business. Very few problems for her, usually foreign buyers.

Cards are a problem for me ~15% of the time.

Doesn't matter if anyone wants to admit it or not, this hobby is full of dishonest people. Save for a few issue here and there, since 1999 when I joined eBay, 99% of the issues with buyers have been with sportscards
