McFarlane Crabtree Error Question??

I just bought a Michael Crabtree McFarlane Figure Series 23 in its Base form. I just noticed that it was missing his left hand and the ball he was supposed to be holding. I was wondering if this would be considered pretty rare, and what the value of something like this would be.
