Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said Monday that prospect left-hander Darin Gorski will get a look as a reliever this spring.

Gorski has made 74 of his 90 professional appearances as a starting pitcher, but the Mets want to see what he can do out of the bullpen. The 25-year-old posted a 4.00 ERA with 118 strikeouts over 139 2/3 innings last season in Double-A and held left-handed batters to a .219 batting average. He's unlikely to make the Opening Day roster, but an impressive showing this spring could lead to a call-up down the road.

I know it's way too early, but Duda is hitting like Doo-dee after his first 2 games....

Lucas Duda went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts on the afternoon – he is 0-for-7 with six strikeouts over his first two games.

Unless it continues into the regular season, I'm not to worried about it yet. Can't wait to watch the game tonight @ 6 though!!

I'm so sad the AAA left Buffalo, now I can't see them when they come play Lehigh Valley, which is the closest stadium to my house. I'm glad I got a lot of IP autos last year, but damn, what do I do now? Have to pick a new AAA team to IP

Do you guys think Johan starts Opening Day? I sure wish he could put all the recent health issues behind him and have a solid year!

If healthy, he definitely goes Opening Day, if not... I'd kinda like to see Harvey get the nod, but I don't know if they'd do that
