They gave up a fair amount. I think Felton is one of the most underrated point guards in the league. I know they are getting Billups back who I also like, just dont think it makes the Knicks good enough to play with the Celtics or the Heat in a 7 game series.

Still a marginal team.

So long as Mike "There's no D" Antoni is coaching, that team will be going nowhere in the playoffs. Not to mention the lack of front court depth and general all around lack of talent (Billups, Fields, Carmelo, Amare is not a murderer's row of talent).

Will get a middling seed and build towards waiting until the end of NEXT season, when they will be courting one of Dwight, Deron or Chris Paul.

With this trade what bench players will see more playing time? Walker? Douglas? Azubuike should step up when healthy and play good minutes. He is an underrated player

I think that although this trade makes the Knicks a more formidable team, they just won't have enough time to gell and get used to playing together. Next season if they can keep this core together then they are one of the top 3 teams in the east but this comes a little too late. On a side note I'm surprised they gave up Gallinari.
