So, we have been cleaning out some stuff at the facility and we are in possession of this list of autographed memorabilia. Now that I've identified the mystery signatures (thanks to the FCB folks!), below is the entire list.

Any thoughts on a value as a lot, both in terms of worth and likely lot sell price?

At some point we will be moving it all, but I am really out of my element here. I know next to nothing about it and the eBay market isn't so telling. Call all the autograph aficionados for their input. As far as I know, there are no JSA or PSA certs, but they all look genuine to me at a comparison's glance to pictures. I guess take that into account as well.

I have no idea on a lot, but there are quite a few items I would be interested in for my collection.
Notably the Gossage Ball and Simms Mini

Uncertified, and as a lot, I cant imagine it going over $1000. Certified, and sold individually obviously a lot more. However, I'm not sure the time and money needed to certify it all would prove overwhelmingly beneficial.

I guess it would really depend on the buyer. If a buyer was interested in the whole lot, and was knowledgable enough ot be able to tell if the autographs were legit, he would probablly offer more than a buyer buying uncertified material(s) in hopes it pans out.

Either way, it's a nice lot. Hopefully someone more knowledgable will chime in and help out.

This would do well either way. You have enough known stuff to carry the cheaper stuff. Depens who sees it. Listing it on ebay as a "Memorabilia Inventory" might help. You would get more listing individually for better stuff and grouping the rest, but the other stuff might not sell and you would be stuck with it.

I think listing as 1 auction would be the best way to go and use bigger names as keywords.

The Baseballs are all over the place with some commons and stars. DO NOT sell as a lot. You will leave money on the table as someone else will buy the lot cheap and break it up for profit. I would not even get them authenticated. Costs too much and you will not get the return on them. Let the sellers judge the autos and buy accordingly. Right now balls are selling well (as always before the holidays). After the holidays you might lose a few bucks, but the balls always hold the same value so you should be good (dont rush for an extra $5). Take your time scan them well, note any blemishes in the ball or auto, as with memorabilia condition will be a big factor. As if they are OMLB balls, signed in blue, on the sweet spot (command a premium). Inscriptions add a small % as buyers sometimes prefer just an auto or HOF inscription.

Any questions hit me up. Auto baseballs are my passion!
Good Luck!

THANK YOU!

My next step is to take pictures of each item and create a photobucket album.

While we are a baseball facility and having them around is nice for the eye appeal, we really don't need them. The money for them all is much better for the business.

See if Spence will give you a blanket LOA for the lot.Similiar to what they do with auction house lots. Then you copy the LOA and send it with each piece.
