To enter state your name, unit and post a picture of yourself in your army fatigues. For extra credit (well wont provide anything extra), feel free to tell a story about your time in service.

If any members know of any other members who are or were part of the armed services get them to come in and sign up. If any other members want to participate feel free to post some cards that you would like to throw into the pot and maybe we can send a few prizes out.

contest ends tomorrow when I log in (after 6pm cst).

Will be PCSing to Germany in 2 months or so.
9 days left in my 15 month deployment to Afghanistan.
3rd Deployment in just under 6 years.

It's funny Russ, I can't find a single picture of me in uniform. All the pictures I had have been erased since my hard drive crashed. Glad you'll be home soon bud.

im an infantry platoon sergeant in the 82nd airborne division. i have deployed 5 times to combat, twice to iraq, twice to afghanistan and once to saudi. i have earned 2 medals for valor under fire and a purple heart.
this first pic is in iraq in 2004 i think, right after we invaded ramadi iraq

USAF, 1984-2006.
4 times to KSA for Southern Watch
2 times to Turkey for Provide Comfort
2 times to Iraq for OIF

I'm currently out of town, so no pics.
I don't want any cards; just wanted to say thanks for the "contest" and thanks to all the current and former service members on the boards. Your service is appreciated! :)

I am a Air Force vet ( 1989-1995 ) who was an Independent Duty Med Tech. I just wanted to say thanks for the contest, but even more important, thanks to those who are right now serving or recently been to Iraq.

I don't want in the contest. Just wanted to express my thanks!!

I have been stationed at Whiteman AFB, MO for 11 years. I have been deployed to Guam (Anderson AB) and TDY several times. I am getting ready to change stations I am moving to Cheyenne, WY to FE Warren AFB, WY. Here is some pics of me!

I'm a retired USAF MSgt, 25 years and loved 98.7648% of it!!!! (Financial Analyst so I know the percentage is correct!) I served from 8Jan1982 til 1Nov06. I'll have to add a picture when I get home this afternoon. I'll try to find one from 1982 and one from 2006 so you can watch my hairline receed to it's present day non-existence! :D Thanks for the contest and for those of you still in, stick with it till 20. You won't regret it!

I was going to post in here when I saw this contest, but was afraid it would mess up entries if it was based on replies in the thread. Since others are posting and whatnot...

I'd like to wish Veterans and their families a belated happy Memorial Day, and a great thanks for the sacrifice and service!

VAQ-134 Naval Air Station Whidbey Island

Boot in Great Lakes A.K.A. "Great Mistakes", A-School at NAS Pensacola, then off to Whidbey Island....joined to see the world....got stuck in an Expeditionary Squadron (means no boat deployments 8-) )....several Det.'s to MCAS Miramar (Top Gun :D ) and to Nellis AFB for Red Flag (War Games) several times a year....probably the highlight of my military career....24 on....24 off....2-4 weeks at a time all while staying in a hotel right off the LV strip with $100 a day allowance (per diem) courtesy of Uncle Sam!!!

sorry guys.....no pics of me in my "Cracker Jack's", BDU's, or DCU's.....all my stuff has been in storage since the move back down to Cali....thanks for the contest!!!
