Evarts had Tommy John surgery last season in June and I think that he is supposed to be out for the whole 2009 season. Mike Rozier was released before the season started.

Rozier will be attentind the University of Tennessee as a QB. He will be considered a walk on because the Redsox are contractually obligated to pay his tuition.

He is a local kid who got drafted the year before I could play against him, but I saw him pitch numerous times and he was dominant in high school. That sucks about Tennessee though.

I could be wrong, lol. I know that this time around he narrowed it down to TN and SC. He is a really big kid for QB imo. 6'5 and 250. Certainly a pocket passer

Yeah, he committed to UNC out of HS. He wasn't as big in High School (obviously), but he still holds the school records for passing yards and rushing yards by a QB.
