I really like the fonts for the name and number on the back. Otherwise, I don't like the designs/logo at all.

Now to unveil the new Jays' unis!

I miss Ozzie Guillen in Chicago.

New Marlins gear looks like it might become popular in the gay pride circuit. Similar to the movement with Hawthorne Wipes (a Community reference, for those who don't know).

Hawthorne wipes, they get rid of santorum like nothing else....

I'm honestly very excited that the Marlins are trying to make a "splash" in the FA market. Great young team that I'd enjoy watching succeed.

I hope the Marlins get in the world series every year and I am a Yankees Fan!...
This way I have a chance to go to World Series Game and watch the Yankees in Miami!

There's been some Duds this season but Last nite's was great. :D

My biggest X-Mas "Pissed I missed it" gift was the "Troy and Abed in the Morning" mug... :(

BTW, did anyone watching the MLB.com video of the "Fashion show" see Nolasco chomping his gum like a cow?

Between the stupid logo, awful jerseys, Gaudi-esque HR fountain, and a damn fish tank for a backstop, the Marlins have quickly become my favourite NL team. Just a fantastic clustereff all the way around.

I don't see the big deal with Will saying it looks gay...it does.

Its colors and design seem inspired by the Gay Pride Movement. Nothing wrong with that. Bright colors together like that are often associated with, and also claimed by, gay advocacy groups. Can't you see Albert Pujols and Ozzie Guillen doing an "It Gets Better" commercial in their orange alternate uniforms?

I guess some ignorant people just put a negative connotation on the word "gay". Just because you like to use "gay" to mean something negative, don't go applying it everywhere. That's a real dick move.

Thank goodness players chase the money and don't chase fashion! If they chased fashion, I don't think any FA would come to Miami. ;)

BTW, MLB video links that have been posted regarding the official "move" to Miami and the new uniforms:

The white uniform looks great, the gray looks above average, the black and orange look poor. Jeffrey Loria looks like a d-bag, which he is.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the new logo was that it resembeled some of the bumper stickers and such that are associated with gay pride. Some people try too hard to be "P.C." and overreact to any use of the word "gay".

I agree. people are becoming wayyyy to Politically Correct. If , we, as a society start letting words affect us, then those people are the ones with the problems. I have no problem with anyone calling me anything they want, but, I also dont give a crap what other people think either. for the record, i am a white, straight American male and i have never in my life been politically correct and never in my life intend on it.
