Michael Beasley to Timberwolves for a 2nd rd pick in 2011 ??

I know its a salary dump.... but has this guy fallen this far this fast? #2 Overall pick just 2 years ago.... and now traded away for a 2nd round pick next year.

The wolves are a mess! This has to be the worst rum franchise. They keep picking up these used to be prospects than came to the league and failed, or they draft 8 point guards in the same draft, one of which was a. very high pick who may never cross the pond. They just through crap against the wall, but nothing sticks!

At one point I rated Beasley higher than Derrick Rose before the draft. Turns out I was wrong. Rose became a budding superstar while Beasley wonders why he get lectures for his attitude and ethic.

Poor Conditioning.

Terrible Work Ethic.

I think it is fair to say that, but at the same time you need to look at the roster now compared to where we were when David Kahn first came in. We are upgraded at nearly every position, and as much as everybody says that Rubio won't come I believe that he will. Jonny Flynn still has time to pan out as he ran a new offense and was a ROOKIE last year. Mistake to not draft Curry? Of course, but there is no changing the past now. Wes Johnson and Martell Webster severely improve our wing players, and Milicic and Pekovic will help down low. I see Beasley as a low risk/high reward move. If he pans out then it is an absolute steal, but if not then I'm sure there is another team that we can get our 2nd round pick back for as teams always seem willing to give these guys another chance. Just my 2 cents. (And yes, I am sadly a Timberwolves fan...)

My point is what is their plan? They just grab anyone with talent and hope they work out, even if they have 3 others at that position. It looks like a fantasy league, and they are the worst team in it! You have to have a plan, and stick to it. They clearly have no plan.

Beasley for free is a steal in my view. He has a lot of talent still, and if you look at his stats last year he can clearly play. I think Wade ran him out of Miami and that he'll do better somewhere else.
