Michael Bowden called up...

... for one day. In case of a short outing by Masterson tonight, the Red Sox have called up top pitching prospect Michael Bowden.

Bowden will be sent back down on Tuesday when Lugo returns to the Boston line up from injury.




Guess I'll still be waiting to move these...

I was gonna send u a PM when i heard it this morning. Wouldn't count on him getting any action but o well. He only has 2 options left, not sure if that takes into account this move or not but at least the sox seem to have confidence in him

He should, I doubt the Red Sox would waste an option just to have him for one day just incase Masterson has a short outing. He will be up again at some point this year.

Probably Saito if it remains a close game. They might extend Bowden for three innings if the sox tack on a bunch more
