IIRC, someone on the old rec.collecting.cards.discuss board pulled one of those and sold it for $7-8K. Unthinkable money for a new card at the time. Even now, only auto'd supers of THE RC of the moment approach that figure. For the Jordan to be double that now is unreal. I wonder how many more might sitting in boxes that I might buy.

hehe nah, I don't buy anything anymore and done with collecting. Clearing out stuff and calling it a day.

I know who the buyer of this card is. He has been spending a ****-TON of money on eBay in the last year and is definitely a "whale". He works for eBay too, which is strange.
