Pineda is still showing on Tacoma site starting tonight and Pauley showing against Yanks

Yep.

To me, wouldn't make much sense organization wise to bring up Pineda this year. Why not keep him down until June 1st, 2011-and gain an extra year of control.

David Pauley is pitching for the M's tonight.

With Cliff Lee on his way to Texas, right-hander David Pauley will start against the Yankees on Friday night.
It would have been a tough assignment for top prospect Michael Pineda to make his major league debut, so it's probably a good thing they used some restraint. Pauley has tossed four scoreless innings over three appearances since being called up from the minors late last month. The 27-year-old right-hander has an 8.35 ERA over 12 appearances (five starts) in the big leagues.
