I asked this question on PortersProspects.com and will also ask it here because I found it interesting...
Who would you rather have as a team manager/owner and who do you think is the better buy, Michael Stanton or Angel Villalona. Although Villalona is in the hitter-friendly Cal League and Stanton is in the pitcher-friendly Florida St league, Villalona has a much better average (despite less power) and is slightly cheaper as well. Sure Stanton is the better overall player in my eyes, but Villalona is younger and could develop nicely.
And for comparison:
Stanton: .280 115AB 15R 33H 6 2B 8HR 23RBI 14BB 29SO .553SLG (Born November, 1989)
Villalona: .330 115AB 20R 38H 5 2B 4HR 18RBI 5BB 22SO .478SLG (Born August, 1990)
*Keep in mind, this is not exactly for investment purposes, but when I was researching the two, they both showed fairly similar styles/numbers and I'm curious to see who you guys would prefer on your team.
