You paid like $180ish if I remember, taylor prices are a bit down since then, so I'll go with $150 or so.

I remember thinking it was pretty close to that, am I remembering incorrectly?

Maybe it was between $150-$200 or so, I think you'd probably get a little less for it than that today, were you to auction it on ebay.

Yeah, I do not really see that card as anything more than $100-$125'ish now. Unless someone really wants it!

I agree with Matt. I can see it at about $100, or a little higher.

Doesn't mean I can't see it at $200 next year.... but the OF is going to be difficult to crack with Werth, Vic, and Ibanez all slated to be there next year. In 2010, Werth and Ibanez will be in the 2nd year of their K's - Ibanez has a 3rd, Werth doesn't, and I believe VIc is still under the Phillies control (arbitration) for another year or two... Plus, Francisco and Mayberry are waiting in the wings...

I might have to do that now......I sold his contenders 9.5 auto for 100.

That's really the beauty of a low #'d card, there are so few, you can set the market and buyers can't go back and point at other sales and say "it sold for such and such."

Although it is a #d/5, even I'd say sell (but I'd say sell anything "baseball" you could make a profit off of right now since in the offseason you'll be able to snatch it back up cheaper than during the season anyhow). Next year you'll probably be kicking yourself but if you need the $$ now you should probably sell!
