Last week I was trying to find updates on Michael Taylor as he had been out since his last game on Aug 15th, I googled & searched like a madman because I had feared for the worst (though deep down I hoped for the best & held my finger's crossed so tightly that he may be getting that callup which I thought he had earned).
I came upon a link that claimed to be Michael Taylor's blog (though I figured it was the artist Michael Taylor, whom seems to have a never-ending supply of G.I. Joe-type figurine's for sell on Ebay that I dread to wade through when I'm trying to search for Taylor's card's :? ), but to my surprise it was the Phillies Triple-A prospect's blog which Scout.com had recently decided to publish as an in-season look to a minor leaguer's life!
Anyhow I read all three of the blog entries and decided to write-in to Taylor and see if he would answer my question's. I wrote in with some question's, which probably read more like fanmail than the normal write-in question's that he receives (but as you all know I am a huge fan
), and today I went back to see if there was a follow-up and low-and-behold there was; and he answered all three question's that I threw at him! I have to say that between reading the interview done by BA with Taylor awhile back and now reading these blog response's, I really think Taylor is a cool character that seems intelligent, thoughtful, extremely down-to-earth, and modest! The link below is to Scout.com's latest Michael Taylor blog....Give it a read and see what you think! (BTW, my question's are the last 3 at the bottom of the page- from David Beach...also Taylor gives us a little insight about his future destination to play Winter Ball as he's "brushing up on his Spanish"):
