Without a doubt, the BIGGEST misconception is that other posters in the FB, Hockey forums etc are not welcome to join. Couldnt be farther from the truth! There's no reason to stay exclusive to one board unless you want to. I want every sport to get traffic on here.

The greatest day in motorsport is tomorrow....Used to be the Monaco GP as well. 1100 Miles and my butt will be tired!

TBH - I don't/didn't respond to Miggy, because he's on my foe list. He has a bad habit of making snide comments and playing off as "inside jokes" when they are only jokes to himself.

I don't/didn't reply to Snyper (except to see what he said here), because he's on my foe's list. He's there, because the last few times I've interacted with him ended with him either going on a name-calling spree or playing the "I'm in the army" card (even though it was quite a while since he'd used that I think).

Funny thing is MT is just that, a thread. Not a group, club, etc. You come in say good morning and leave, pop in through the day, or stay all day and chat. That's it. When someone new pops in and says hi they are usually greeted. Most of us work and pop in and out throughout the day. For people to say they jumped in and posted one day and didn't get a party thrown in their honor, speaks of how serious some people take themselves. Perhaps in the midst of the day people were working, changing diapers, doing homework, etc. and your one post was simply overlooked. Get over yourselves. Otherwise its just like the real world, and takes time to learn/get to know a new group of people. THe MT is guaranteed the ONLY place on the board free of drama, scammers, and other bs that irritates people.

How about something coming from an "outsider?"

I wasnt a member of any groups on BMB or wherever the MT guys started. I have the big red MSF tag, but from the very beginning, guys in the MT have traded with me, and when asked if they would like me to send first, not once did anyone ever use the tag against me. They have gotten to know me over there and we've all talked about our pulls, our trades, breaks and aside from that, just our lives in general. Bad health, babies being born, buying a new house, new vehicle, kids graduating from school...I've seen it all. I assure you I am NOT a member of any club. I happen to find the MT and post in it regularly. Because of that, theres some guys that I chat with regularly outside of the MT. Nobody is there to cause any hassle. Folks get along well and are always welcoming to a new face. If you're offended that you come into a thread and someone doesnt immediately address you personally, your life has a lot more problems than the Internet.
