As a big Tigers fan, I will tell you this-he hasn't played like the 2nd best hitter this postseason. He has had some hits, but he has given away far too many AB's so far. He's just not locked in like I have seen him in the past. It's frustrating, because I know he can do much better.

Give me Braun for sure right now over Cabrera, and honestly I'm not sure Pujols is entrenched in that top spot at the moment.

He is not the second best hitter in the MLB, obviously top 10, and I think top 5, maybe 4 or so but not 2 definitely.

He may be the second best hitter, but if he wasn't so fat the tigers may have won last night.

Who's your top 5 then?

1. Nelson Cruz
2. Josh Hamilton
3. Mike Napoli
4. Adrian Beltre
5. Albert Pujols

In my unbiased opinion

26 games- .268 average, 97 at bats, 15 runs, 26 hits, 6 homeruns, 19 rbis, 14 walks and 28 strikeouts.

Nothing there really strikes me as outstanding. Definitely not terrible by any means.

Also, Hail2thevictors, this post season is his most productive of his career.

He's batting .290 in the postseason. I love the Tigers, and love Miggy, but he hasn't been nearly as good as he can be this postseason. That is a fact as it stands right now. The .290 is after tonight's game.

In my opinion, I don't even think Austin Jackson beats that throw. The ball was medium depth at best, and Cruz has a cannon. It was a complete mistake for Cabrera to try and score with 1 out there. He had no chance. But, I don't think there are that many players that beat that throw in that situation.

And lets just be honest here for a second, if we could. Miggy is not fat-CC Sabathia is fat. Jose Valverde is fat. Miguel Cabrera is just a big guy. Calling him fat is just hilarious. Is he lazy at times? Yes. Fat? No. CC has got to be the posterchild of the MLB fat club.
