Mike & Mike absolutely murdered the card industry this morning.

Cris Carter was on the show this morning, and they were talking about the recent NCAA autograph scandals, and CC and Golic absolutely murdered the major card collecting companies. Saying they were despicable, and unethical in the way they are ran.

Did anyone else listen or watch this?

Ok so they are blaming the card industry for what? I don't think the card industry is smart enough to have I don't know Jameis Winston sign 5000 stickers in a hotel for 50000 cash. That way they can put out a card early. The card industry has a 6 month at least wait for auto redemptions. So we know its not them getting these players on trouble.

I was listening . They kept saying JSA was paying Winston etc , instead of them being the authentication company. CC came off looking like a DBag IMO. He talked badly about the autograph process , but bragged that he was getting paid well as a "HOFer" with an exclusive contract. He stated Winston should have held out for an exclusive and not flooded the market w his autos until he really could cash in. Greeny didn't really have a clue on the process. Golic is familiar w it , And I don't think he said to many bad things about the companies. CC said it was a joke , but didn't really say why.

Every time I hear CC talk I dislike him more and more and that is sad considering I'm a huge OSU fan.

As for M&M, they did come back later and clarify that JSA only authenticates the autos, so that was good.

Got to love at times how he starts to speak in "street" or "slang" at times but every other time comes off very professional and educated. Just another thing that irritates me when listening to him.

To me I see why they want him on radio / TV , but I personally can't stand the way he talks and comes off sometimes. Anyway , I liked him a lot as a player , I could do w/o him and a cast of others in the personality and speaking game.
Berman , Ditka , etc can go retire ASAP

They are Regis and Kelly or whatever it's called now. They're (without looking) the most wide sweeping show in the country.

Most morning drive guys on the AM side are the good wholesome guys. M&M are the sports show that your wife might listen to.

They talk more about Greeny's metrosexual fashion style than sports

Golic talks about food bc ever since he went on nutrasystem he's starving

And they always make a big deal with a Chris Carter or someone else SIGNED BY ESPN comes on the shoe
ESPN over saturates their former players on all of their media it gets tiresome

SVP/Russillo and LeBatard's shows are gold.

The way they bring in the production team in for the final hour is very Patrick-esque and I think its some of the best radio going. LeBatard is the anti-ESPN guy and he's not afraid to ruffle the suit's feathers. His stuff is either love or hate. I think it's mostly genius. He routinely has some of the smartest co-hosts on. If you've never heard John Amaechi, you should, he's possibly the smartest sports mind I've heard on radio. Secondly, Bomani Jones is great, just flat out great.
