also, without trying to veer off track and spark a debate, I hope when he gets out people don't continue to crucify the guy. What he did was BEYOND wrong but man, he has been absolutely reemed and once he completes his punishment he should be given another chance in society.

Also, just a fun lil FYI, a N.J. man was discovered with 68 dead pets in his house that had been tortured and mutilated and what did he get??????

Millions taken? Public ridicule and scrutiny? no wait, a lenghty prison sentence....

no, he got PROBATION

A double standard maybe? Its sad when just b/c your successful the crimes you commit are 100000% times worse then those commited by regular citizens.

It works both ways though how many times has a famous person with money gotten off with a month or 2 in jail or probation for the same crime that a common person would be in jail for years?
I agree he should get another chance, and as I said I would like the leos to pick him up, but I just don't see that happening.
I would just think a more realistic number to start would be a million or 2, hell work in some nice performance incentives into the contract..

No ur absolutely right, more times than you can count a celeb has gotten off with a slap on the wrist. I just hate when somebody becomes the whipping boy... that's an interesting article btw if you get a chance...68 dead caracasses and probation lol.

On a lighter note, I've been really good its awesome seeing so many familiar "faces"! I've kinda slipped outta the card world once beckett died, but now with the draft coming and buzz starting, i can feel it in the air!!!! lol

oh yeah and about vick getting a big payday, no way, he'll have to def. earn that again. I have a feeling fans will crucify the management/owner if they give him a huge payday. Supposedly theres some new football league that's supposed to be trying to compete with the nfl (goodluck) and they want vick really bad to be the star of the league... i'll try to find that article, i forget what the name of the league is but with arena halted and no nfl europe it might actually pan out, hopefully. (more football!!!)

that was an interesting read, makes you wonder what the heck is going through these people's minds.
I have been decent, I kind of faded out when beckett went wacky. Had a close encounter with a lightning bolt last august, that really messed me up bad.
Glad Nate brought me over here from the other site I am on, it is coll to be back with all the rest of the old beckett crew.
