Nice lot. I wish some of my pitching prospects were still in A ball. I loved the lines they use to put up =/

I'll say it again. Chris Carter is showing discipline finally and is ready to break into the elite.

He's 1-1 2 R 1 2B 2 BB 0 K

His average sits at .300. He isn't showing the power, but the RBI's, Extra Base Hits, and BB's have increased.

He's a virtual lock for BA's hotlist as he's raised his average to .353.

Update: Add another walk too. I believe he's been on base every time.

Update2: Another walk. He's the double-A version of Pujols right now, but switch hits!

Pretty good game from Jon Velasquez. I only post it because he has a good story. He went to 4 open tryouts and private ones and the final one was going to be his last ever. He was just going to start looking for another career. The Red Sox's and Phillies both had interest and the Phillies won.

So far this year- 4-0, 1.23ERA, 14.2IP, 1BB, 12SO. He's 23 so it's what to be expected in A ball, but I will be pulling for him.

my man, clayton "i am not the brother of viggo" mortensen will be pitching tonight

3 games in, his line is decent, much better than last year at aaa

record is 1-1, era 1.47, 18 in pitched. giving up only 1 run each of his 3 starts

only thing that still concerns me about him is his bb/k ratio, almost 1/1 (11bb's, 12k's)
