Matt McBride and his .405 AVG and 1.120 OPS were promoted to AA-Akron yesterday, changing places with the demoted John Drennen.

The former catcher is joining the Aeros as an outfielder after playing mostly first at Kingston.

He is joining a fairly prospect-laden line-up.
