BTW 10ks for Tillman

I just don't think he's underrated. I'd say he's accurately rated. He came into the season having to get his walks down to step to the next level, and early on, he's improved slightly in that regard. He also gives up too many flyballs for my liking.

fair enough. I am actually very pleased he has ct down his # of walks. The reason i say he is vastly underrated still is because his prices don't reflect a true stud pitching prospect yet and he does not seem to be in the group of elite aces with guys like Hanson Bumgarner Feliz, Parker for most people when they do their rankngs.

I think Tillman is uber underrated. Prospect pitchers in A ball sometimes get a bit overhyped because of the nasty lines they are putting up against poor hitting. Tillman is just ahead of most of the pitchers his age. Can you imagine if he was still pitching in Single A? Tillman is the same age as Alderson, Parker, and just a few months older than Bumgarner. Let's see how Parker, Alderson, and Bumgarner a full season out of A ball and we'll come back to this.

Final line for Trevor Reckling...

Another fine outing:

IP: 6 2/3
H: 7
R: 1
ER: 1
BB: 1
K: 3
ERA: 1.05

He's in line for the win if the Travs can hold on (which would make him 3-0!).

Low K's isn't such a bad thing. The low walks is nice ,but the the 6-10 groundout-flyouts is a little worrisome.

Lots of K's are nice ,but sometimes overrated. I like to see a pitcher go deep into a game with a nice k/b ratio, go/fo ratio, and low walks. I wish all my prospects turned into R. Halladay. He is the perfect pitcher.

Derek Norris 2-4 with another HR. #7 on the year. He has been killing the ball as of late.

Souza 2-4 also :D

How serious is the hand/wrist injury that Carlos Santana left the game with? He went 0-1 with a BB beforehand...

I agree on the flyballs because I was there tonight. Reimold HR was a no doubt shot. Tillman sat at 94-95 as the game went on. Wieters can't adjust to the cold weather. He had a horrible game as a DH.
