Man, I have to pay Montero a visit at New Jersey. He's doing well as a youngster.

Yep, the kid is super nice and he will knock down up to 3 cards. 1 ball only if you do it that way. Tonight I got him to sign 2 cards and a Baseball America photocopy for a friend. It is worth he trip. Go Wednesday night. They play Conneticut and they have Bumgarner, Alderson, Crawford, and Sosa coming in!

Ivan Nova is a little hidden gem in the yanks farm. He is extremly raw and could really be something if he can control his talents.

No you didn't. Nobody did

I gave up on him 2 years ago.[/quote:5tp0aco4]

Ok, maybe not a mile away ,but atleast a couple months ago.[/quote:5tp0aco4]

Well played in that case. What signs pointed to a big year? I was caught outta nowhere on this one.[/quote:5tp0aco4]

I noticed him when I was following Daryl Thompson last year. He was very good in Saratosa. He wasn't giving up many HR's, K's were pretty good, batters were only hitting around .200 against him and then he was rushed up to AA. His control went to down the crapper and he started giving up the long ball trying to throw strikes. He started off this year giving up to many walks ,but was able to stay in the game. I figured as soon as the control issues were taken care of he would really start to shine.[/quote:5tp0aco4]

Nice.

There was a dude on the BMB that had an absolutely insane stash. Me and him joked that if we put our cards together we would be majority shareholders in every Travis Wood card.

I wonder if he still has it all.[/quote:5tp0aco4]

Luis Exposito w/ 2 more doubles tonight. He now leads the Carolina League with 19 on the season. Also had 2 more RBIs for a season total of 31, leading all catchers in just 48 games.
