6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K

Now 11 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 9 K on the season, no XBH. The one ER scored on a DP after two singles to leadoff the game today.

Michael Taylor had a previous mention in this thread but his complete statline was not given (& it is quite impressive & deserves it's own post)!

3-for-5, 2Runs, 2B, HR, 4RBI's, SO, & now holds a .342 avg. on the year!!! :o

Speaking of which, Taylor's card's have seen quite a jump (his recent 2008 EEE Auto #d/720 went for $34 dlvd...I was buying these at $8 earlier this year, but I think I'm going to hold most of my stuff as I've said all along: he's going to be something "special" in the big's)! ;) :D

I'd still dump some of them at that for $20 profit if you have 20-30 of them.

Chris Carter with another HUGE day....

AB 3
H 2
R 2
RBI 6
HR 1
2B 1
BB 1

Find a way to promote Jemile Weeks and get him into that lineup and that team would be sick!

Jemile Weeks is a HR short of the cycle and its only in the 4th inning

Maybe I should put my Razor Black auto /199 FS?

Its funny you should mention that...I listed my gold metal auto /28 and haven't gotten much interest in it. I am thinking of taking down the listing; a guy playing this well deserves more credit/hype.

Posey doesn't play again, is he getting the bump soon?

Along that line....neither did Alcides Escobar.

And I know the Brewers are in preliminary talks with some teams according to Adam McAlvey (Brewers MLB Correspondent).

Of course, it could just be a day off, but we in Milwaukee are expecting something to happen with the Crew.

Posey and bumgarner were rumored to be promoted so i am wondering the same.

Holy **** his HR was a moon shot. I dont know if anyone has been to Trenton but Taylor hit one over the signs in left field....(330, and the signs are about 30 feet high) it left the ball park in a second... farthest HR i have ever seen in the minors. Taylor is going to be an absolute monster in the majors some day. I have seen a lot of good hitting prospects play in the last 2 years(Michael Stanton, Jesus Montero, Matt Dominguez, Travis Snider, Lars Anderson, Carlos Santana, Kyle Skipworth, Zach Collier, Andrew Lambo, Villalona Wilmer Flores, Austin Jackson... plus a bunch of guys in the futures game) but no one has impressed me like Michael Taylor did today. hopefully he will put on a show tomorrow also.

Montero had a HR also, i was in the bathroom when it happened but I heard it was a shot.

Souza :D

The thing i love about him is that he's baseball card "old school", as he only has one MLB rookie card.

When I was listening to the game the other night the Reading Phill's commentator was talking about his interview with Reading's manager S.Roadcap, in which Roadcap began discussing M.Taylor. Roadcap talked about the comparison's that have been made of M.Taylor with that of Ryan Howard & then Roadcap relayed that with M.Taylor's consistency & his all-around level of constant improvement in his tool's & production, he believes M.Taylor to be the best prospect in the league (I'm guessing he meant AA Eastern League, but either way that is a remarkable compliment that was given...even if it is the coach of his team)! ;) I just thought I would share as I'm glad that Taylor is finally beginning to get the accolade's which he deserves! :D
BTW (M.Taylor is 2-for-2, 2B, RBI, & was just "plunked"/BB :? )! Oh & he is now hitting a VERY cool .347 avg. on the year!!!! :o :D
