I'm here at the SWB Yanks game..ARod is 0-1 with 2bb. Few other thoughts:
- Moore looked great. Made Montero look stupid in one of his atbats, switched speeds great. Believe 97 was his high.

- Banuelos looked better than his statline. ARod made an error, and also messed another play up..which probably ended up costing him 30 pitches. Moore did look better though.

- Tim Beckham is not very fan friendly

The announcer said Pomeranz has 53 pitches coming into the seventh.

And now he's served up his first 3-ball count before retiring the first batter of the seventh. 58 pitches through 6.1. Grant Green up next.

And it's over. Grant Green extends his hitting streak to fifteen games on a single off Drew Pomeranz in the 7th inning. Pomeranz's perfect game is over.

Too bad he can't play in the cal league forever.

Neil Ramirez pulled after only an inning. Is he injured again?

If I had my travel voucher paid off today, I would be making a serious run at it. As it stands, I'm broke as a joke.

The whole team in Nashville had a decent night. They've been pretty consistant; makes me feel a little better about depth.

Indeed, at this rate he should see the big league squard next year some time.

No worries here.

Don't worry. I know a guy who will probably be listing some cheaper options. :)

Loosely related: Anyone know why Taijuan Walker is listed as Temporarily Inactive on milb.com?

According to Jonathan Mayo, he's being shut down for the remainder of the season.

One other minor piece of news to pass your way…right-hander Carter Capps, Seattle’s third-round pick in 2011 and the newest LumberKing as of yesterday will make his pro debut in the starting role on Monday in Peoria. He’s on the roster as right-hander Taijuan Walker (who turns 19 today) heads to the Temporary Inactive List. He’s likely done for 2011 after going 6-5, 2.89 over 18 starts, 96.2 innings in his first full season.
