Bowden pitching for the pawsox. Probably his last appearance in Pawtucket before getting the call to Boston in the next week

Kyle Lobstein, saw the kid yesterday down in oneonta thought he was pitching but the rainout messed up the rotation. Good kid who had no trouble signing a ball for me. He isn't a 6'2 kid unless I grew a few inches from working out like crazy this year and i'm about 6. McEachern is skinny as a rail but he will be difficult for getting autos if he becomes really good, he had an issue in signing a ball for me. He was like, oh is this an official and then finally signed.

The last of my stash is cheering for him:

In other news, Logan Morrison just drew his 61st walk in AA this season. He's in 5th place in the league in walks, despite playing between 38 to 57 fewer games than the four guys in front of him. Considering that he has only struck out 41 times, that's one great batter's eye.

Lobstein 8 K's through 5 IP with only 1 hit allowed which was a fluke HR and one walk after the homer, but recovered to K the last two guys of that inning.

Look at my boy Alexander Smit's line tonight. Building on that shutout he pitched in his last outing.

My guys were OK..

Mike McDade; 3-run HR (16)
He had a great August: .380-6-20 OPS of 1.050, only 26Ks and 10 BB. Even had a triple.

Reynaldo Navarro; 2-5
Hit .324 for August, with 14 RBI - up to .263 on the season (with a .190 May and a .208 June)

Dissapointing season, but I think he can grow on it next year...super smooth SS regardless.
