Luis Jimenez was 2-4 tonight raising his avg to .317 to go along with 34-2b, 14-hr and 66-RBI. I know his critics bash his lack of walks but he doesn't strike out much either and has performed well at every level. I don't know why the Angels haven't given him a shot at third... It's not like Callaspo or Maicer are setting the world on fire

Is it this site being so dead or does no one care about the perfect game this year??? Seams like it used to be the aflac/ perfect game thread would be close to 100 posts by its self...

In fairness, the overall crop was nowhere near as hyped as it has been in previous years - and there was no clear standout player.

I was most impressed by:

1) Rob Kaminsky - struggled a bit early, but came back to K the last two guys he faced.
2) Brett Morales - loaded the bases with no outs, then proceeded to K the side.
3) Rowdy Tellez - big kid who managed to chug out a triple. Should have won MVP, IMO. (Nasty gash on his face after the victory pileup.)
4) Clint Frazier - great hitter with surprising pop.

Jose Fernandez Dealing again. Anyone know how well his 3rd and 4th pitches have been developing?

5IP 3H 1ER 8K, didnt see how many walks he had.

So far this year has put up some nice numbers: W 12 L 1 ERA 1.89 IP 119 SO 142
