Dont forget he got robbed of a home run last week by that Jiwan Jameson "catch"

Im not sure where the sudden power surge is coming from, but looking at the stats it seems like he's just cutting loose and swinging for the fences. Walk rate is down, strikeouts are up. Not sure if it's a positive outbreak, or just a new free swinging approach.
