Speaking of Heyward, saw this on Yahoo:

One major league scout from a top-tier organization is so high on Atlanta Braves outfielder Jason Heyward that he said he would be willing to give the Braves anyone on his team’s 25-man roster to get him. “The best young hitter I’ve seen in years,” the scout said. “He’ll be leading the league in home runs for 10 years once he gets here.” Heyward, 19, was the Braves’ No. 1 draft pick in 2007, the 14th player taken overall. He’s strong, disciplined, and smart – his parents, Eugene and Laura, are both Dartmouth graduates. “Let me put it this way,” another major league executive said of the 6-4, 220-pound left-handed hitter. “He’s a cross between Dave Parker, Darryl Strawberry and Fred McGriff. How’s that put it? He’s got a chance to be a real superstar.”

Another Braves power-hitting prospect with a high ceiling – first baseman Freddie Freeman – is already joined at the hip with Heyward.

“They play together, they room together,” the executive said. “Heyward is an African-American kid from Atlanta, Freeman is a white kid from [Orange, Calif.], and they’re the best of friends. They both have makeup that is off the charts.”

Heyward and Freeman are currently playing at Class-A Myrtle Beach. Look for them to move up to Double-A by midseason.

Reading things like this make me hate scouts. Don't get too caught up with anything said here. We know he has the makings of a great player, but take it with a grain of salt.

I don't guess I understand this statement. Scouts are behind every player in the major leagues to some degree or another, so why wouldn't we pay attention to what they say?

It's not so much as "not paying attention to what the scout says" as it is taking it with a grain of salt (meaning don't hold too much into what's been written here). I think thefasterblade wrote this because the write-up was going for a point & that point was to boast about the young player's positive's (about Heyward & all that is great about Heyward), he could have spoken to several scout's & they all agreed that he was a good prospect but the author of this writeup is not going to use something that is bland; he's going to search out the most "eye-catching" & "over-the-top" quote's to draw in the reader & leave them with a sense of "wow" (maybe even to get the response that was accomplished in this very thread...having the reader of the write-up post it somewhere else or use as a reference when discussing a topic just as this one, as now there are probably 20 more people whom went & read that article because of the "bell's & whistle's" that the author used in thier piece).
But this is just my take on what thefasterblade may have meant! Personally I take most of these type of "write-up's" with a grain of salt as they all have content in them that is meant for the sole purpose of "Eww'ing & Ahh'ing" the reader (which is used as a means to imprint said write-up into the reader's memory). :D

My Walden Elite's would like him to come back soon and pitch just like he did in his last game before he injured himself.

Still no news on Nick Barnese... hmmm

And I still haven't seen anything on Ryan Adams.
Hasn't been in the lineup since the 14th.
