Madison was filthy tonight. I was never sure who was better between him and Alderson and I may have to go with Bum now.

I like both (thus the golds in my sig).

Bumgarner is the future ace though and alderson is a solid #2 to me (could be an ace, just not as nasty as bumgarner).

Both had scoreless debuts

Yea, I don't think these kind of lineups are challenging him much. We know from last year that he owns single A. I would love to see what he can do in AA.

This is the lineup he owned last night. Just not enough challenges for him.

Last night was the first time I got to see Bumgarner pitch in person. And he didn't disappoint. He was pounding the zone with his fastball which had good movement and sat 90-94 all night. He threw some changes and sliders for strikes but they were not breaking sharply. I can't wait to see his next start!

Brandon Crawford's HR was a bomb to center field. Very nice swing for a 4th round pick.
