Anybody else noticing what Scooter Gennett is doing?

2-4, 2B today. .358/.434/.516 overall in his first taste of pro ball in the Midwest League.

I liked the pick by the Brewers in the 16th, but figured he'd go to school, but nope and he's looking like he may be a steal.

Another 1-2-3 inning, another K. Three total.

Repeatedly hitting 97-98 on the gun, and if you blink you'll miss an inning - they're that quick.

Strasburg threw over 100 twice, the gun on the scoreboard reads to 99. Great stuff, great frame to throw, horrible inverted W motion which will have him with a very short career. He was already wrapping his arm up by the 4th inning which is a concern.

Most likely not.

Inverted W is what Prior and Bonderman have. The only guy whom has stayed healthy outside of one TJ surgery who has it is Burnett.

Who, by the way, is incredibly talented. Remember people saying Lincecum's delivery wouldn't last him x amount of time before he had a career-ending injury? If by "career ending injury", you mean "multiple Cy Youngs", you were right. Now, about Strasburg, I think it's the same thing. People doubt it and still won't let up even after he wins a Cy or two. What I'm trying to say is that I've heard it all before and seen arguments like yours come up in the past only to fall on their face.
