Damn if I had realized Moore and Barnese were both pitching in a double header in Asheville today I probably would have made the drive to go.

Desmond Jennings showing why he is the ideal leadoff man tonight. 2-3, bb, 2 runs scored, and a steal. He was caught stealing and picked off first though. Maybe he's been watching BJ too much

Who I was watching today:

-Steven Souza: 1/5 (was on base twice, once on a fource out RBI), 2 R, 3 SO (has been striking out a ton lately)
-Nino Leyja: 2/5, HR, 2 RBI (his triumphant return to MWL)
-Zach Britton: 5.1, 3 ER, 3 BB, 5 SO (got the win, but has been struggling lately)
-Danny Espinosa: 1/4, SB, SO (did pretty well considering Montgomery was on the mount)
-Tyson Ross: 5 IP, 4 ER, 3 SO, 5 BB (did not have his control in this outing)

Crazy Performance of the day: Rob Widlansky (Fredrick, A+)
3/3, (2) 2B, 3 BB ......Now that is what I call an OPS booster!

I still have my eye on Vancouver (SS), as Rashun Dixon is back in the lineup, but he is 0/2 so far :(

Juan Francisco: 3-5 2B RBI

Kyle Weiland: 6.0 IP 4H 1ER 5K 2BB

Juan Francisco has been on a tear this week, got snubbed from the Hotsheet last week but should be a canditade for #1 this week.

Cardenas was 0 for again tonight and is now 0 for 15 since his recall to AAA. Good news though he did draw a walk.
