Michael Saunders 1-5, HR (7), 2 RBI--homered on his last at-bat, good way to end the minor league season.

Whoa! There's a blast from the past! I remember when he was the hottest thing in prospecting back in the days!

Singleton 1-1

If he can manage to log another hit, I think he might be able to bring his overall average up to .300 on the year which would be pretty miraculous considering how terrible he played in his first 2 months.

Luis Jimenez 2-5 2b(40) 2 rbi(94). Despite a poor showing the last few weeks of the season he wound up hitting .290 18 94 w/ 40-2b and 15-sb. I would love to see him get a shot with the big club out of spring training but that may be a bit of a stretch.

When was Saunders ever close to "the hottest thing"?

Well back then his blue refractors from 2007 bowman draft were selling around $30-40 so he did have some hype around him

Hard to believe that now. I picked up a BGS 10 Pristine Red Refractor #5/5 for $65 a few months back. The Condor will soar again!

You're right about Yelich - good year!

To back it up with stats, he improved his monthly BA every month April- July, then hit over .335 in August. Yelich's LD% was a ridiculous 32% in August, which was a follow up to a damn good 24% in July.

He's 6'4" and 19 years old, hit 48 XBH this year, stole 30 bases, and could potentially develop into a CF (played some there, but mostly LF). Other than the K% at roughly 20%, there's not much to dislike.
