Million Card Giveaway Problem

I had some problems yesterday entering the codes and finally sent this email to Topps:

this morning i registered and tried to enter my 8 codes for your
Million Card Givaway. I enterd the first 5 with no problems. However,
my last three codes gave this response:

Invalid Code

Sorry, this code has already been used.


Now, I know the codes must be valid because i got them in was packs
from Target and until this morning, I never attempted to enter them in
your promotion. Also, they codes were entered correctly.

I wonder if there are duplicate codes. I have not heard back from Topps yet.

lots of site stalling gave that error. check your collection and see if you have the same # of cards as you do redemptions

>no, never rec'd credit for the three that i had a problem with. i had 8 codes but my collection only shows the first 5 that i was able to enter. i tried to re-enter the 3 problem codes but it says something like these are invalid codes that have already been used.

Someone could have guessed the codes and entered them on the site. Tell Topps you can provide proof of the cards you have and to check with the person who entered the codes initially. It also doesn't surprise me that some codes were duplicated.

I have noticed a few things..sometimes when entering the codes it looks like they didn't go through but they
really did..try that.

Second, the codes are almost impossible to guess, keep in mind that the codes are case sensitive.
